Devin has twenty years of experience investing in technology companies and helping management teams build their companies. Prior to founding ParkerGale, Devin was a Managing Partner and a member of the investment committee at Chicago Growth Partners where he ran their technology group. He also spent five years at Baird Venture Partners where he was the Managing Partner and chair of the investment committee. Early in his career, Devin worked at Great Hill Partners and William Blair Capital Partners. He studied Art History at SUNY Binghamton and received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Devin supports Chicago’s visual arts community as a Board member of threewalls.
Jim has spent his entire career in technology, working with customers, founders and management teams. Prior to founding ParkerGale, he worked at Chicago Growth Partners and William Blair Capital Partners where he managed portfolio company operations and technology initiatives. Before starting in private equity, Jim held various technical, sales and strategy roles at Oracle Corporation, Compuware/Uniface, CA/Ingres and Digital Equipment Corporation. He studied Accounting and Applied Statistics at Babson College, and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from IIT in Chicago. Jim spends his free time mixing it up in the black belt division on the Sport Martial Arts circuit.
Kristina is responsible for sourcing and monitoring investments. For the eleven years prior to founding ParkerGale, she was a Principal at Chicago Growth Partners where she was part of the original team that spun out of William Blair in 2004. Prior to CGP, she spent two years at Credit Suisse First Boston where she was a part of the business services investment banking team. Kristina received a BS from the University of Illinois.
Ryan is responsible for sourcing and monitoring investments. For the eight years prior to founding ParkerGale, he was a Principal at Chicago Growth Partners where he helped manage the technology investment sector. Prior to CGP, he spent two years at Robert W. Baird where he worked in investment banking. Ryan received a BS from Boston College and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management. Ryan supports Chicago youth engagement initiatives through his work with boxing charity The Bloc, is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and is on the Board of the Illinois Technology Association.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Corey is responsible for day-to-day operations of the firm. Prior to founding ParkerGale, he spent eight years at CGP as it’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Corey also spent seven years as Controller at Willis Stein & Partners where he was responsible for fund and tax accounting, cash management as well as various investor relations and administrative aspects of a $3 billion group of funds. Corey received his BA from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a registered Certified Public Accountant.
Kevin is responsible for sourcing and monitoring investments. For the three years prior to joining ParkerGale, he was an Associate at Chicago Growth Partners, involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment process including deal origination, execution and the monitoring of portfolio companies across the technology investment sector. Prior to CGP, he spent two years at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was a part of the business services investment banking team. Kevin received a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Kara is responsible for sourcing and monitoring investments. Prior to joining ParkerGale, Kara was a Senior Associate at McCarthy Capital, where she was responsible for deal origination, execution and monitoring of portfolio companies. Before working in Private Equity, Kara worked in the technology industry, holding strategy focused roles at Cision and Google. Kara graduated with a BA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Jake is responsible for working with portfolio companies to identify and implement operational improvements and new growth initiatives. Prior to joining ParkerGale, Jake worked at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) for over five years as an Operating Associate where he successfully led various operating initiatives across the firm's healthcare and technology companies. Before WCAS, Jake spent three years at Capgemini Consulting as a management consultant. Jake holds a BA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
Cici is responsible for working with portfolio companies on their growth strategies by developing and implementing programs that amplify go-to-market approaches, product positioning and financial results. Prior to joining ParkerGale, Cici worked at Bain & Company as a Case Team Leader advising clients across multiple industries on a variety of engagements including private equity due diligence, customer strategy, marketing, and merger integrations. Before joining Bain, Cici was an Associate at HealthCare Royalty Partners as well as an Analyst at UBS where she was a part of the healthcare investment banking team. Cici holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ben supports investment sourcing and monitoring activities, and assists portfolio company management. Prior to joining ParkerGale, Ben was an Associate at Parthenon-EY, where he provided growth strategy and commercial due diligence consulting services for corporate and private equity clients. Ben holds an AB in Computer Science from Harvard University, where he was a member of the varsity football team.
Eleanor ("Nori") supports investment sourcing and monitoring activities, and assists portfolio company management. Prior to joining ParkerGale, Nori worked in management consulting as an Associate at Treacy & Company, where she helped clients develop and deploy growth strategies while building the discipline for sustainable and profitable growth. Nori holds an AB in Government from Harvard University, where she also rowed for the Harvard-Radcliffe Women’s Heavyweight Crew.
Sharon has managed the day-to-day operations of various private equity firms over her career, working at William Blair Capital Partners and Chicago Growth Partners before being part of the founding team at ParkerGale. Sharon's role is to take care of all the details that go into running a dynamic, fast-paced, growing private equity business.
Tim is a long-time private equity investor, having spent more than 25 years as a Managing Partner and investment committee member at Chicago Growth Partners and William Blair Capital Partners, which he founded in 1987. Tim has served on the board of over two dozen private equity owned companies during his career including CES, Towne Holdings, Sanford, Daiseytek and ECIN. Tim received his BA from Duke University and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Dave entered the private equity business upon joining William Blair & Company from Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in 1987. At William Blair, he partnered with Tim Murray and other colleagues to build the firm’s merchant banking capabilities, which were ultimately known as William Blair Capital Partners. While at William Blair, Dave and his Partners raised, invested and managed four private equity funds over a 17-year period. In 2004, the team leading WBCP established Chicago Growth Partners on an independent basis while continuing to manage the William Blair funds. Since 2004, Dave has served as Managing Partner and Co-Founder of CGP. Collectively, the William Blair and CGP funds totaled $1.5 billion in committed capital. Over the past 30 years, Dave has served as a board member of numerous privately-held companies, primarily in the education, healthcare and technology services markets.
Dave received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in history from Princeton University. He served as Board Chair of the Golden Apple Foundation from 2007 to 2016 and remains on its Executive Committee. Golden Apple is a non-profit organization dedicated to recruiting, developing and supporting excellent teachers in schools of need throughout Illinois. He is also a board member of the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL), a Chicago non-profit organization that creates schools of excellence by developing highly effective teachers and transforming education outcomes in Chicago’s lowest performing schools. AUSL manages 31 Chicago Public Schools serving nearly 18,000 students.
